Our Alpenlite
Our Alpenlite is a 2003 Augusta, it's 32' long, has 2 slides and is a rear lounge unit with the huge rear window. This was the most popular model Western RV made.
It is in excellent condition and no one has ever smoked in it. We do travel with our cat "Chelsea" but she is well behaved and there haven't been any accidents, etc..
We love our Alpenlite and will miss it for many reasons.
-With all the Windows and the skylight it has a very light and open feeling.
-It has good storage and huge tanks...100 gal fresh, 90 gal grey, and 45 gal black, allowing us to stay in a great spot without hookups a VERY long time, if we choose.
-It's well built and has been virtually hassle & trouble free from day one . . . we don't like problems.
-We love the windows, as they allow really good airflow, even in rainy conditions . . . hate being cooped up!
Specific equipment is as follows:
- 2 loungers upgraded to Ultra Leather
- cloth sofa upgraded to "Magic Bed"
- Oak cabinetry
- Micro upgraded to Convection/Micro
- 3 burner stove and oven
- built in central vacuum cleaner system
- 2000 watt inverter, 50w solar panel, solar charger, and 2 add'l 6v batteries, added as option.
- Pergo floor in Kitchen, added as option
- Upgraded to a Porcelain toilet
- Skylight added as option
- 2 Fantastic fans
- Air conditioner upgraded to Heat Pump/Air Conditioner
- Propane/electric water heater
- Upgraded tires...Goodyear G614's (a true trailer tire which has a G load rating)
We're changing to a Motorhome for health reasons and so our friend must go to a good home.
The rig is currently in Atascadero, Ca but we and it will move gradually back to our home in SE Idaho. We expect to be home around May 6th.
Nada Guide (see below), with only some of our upgrades, says "Average Retail" is almost $37,500 and "Low Retail" is over $31,000, but we're asking only $30,000 for a quick sale.
Likewise, the additional valuation info I purchased, shows Nada and Kelly Blue Book "Wholesale and Retail values". Ignoring all our upgrades they indicate a Wholesale value of roughly $27,500.
